Cancellation and Refunds Policy

REFUNDS

Due to the digital nature of our service, by placing your order for a subscription you agree that we may start your subscription immediately upon our accepting your order. This means that you are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind after we have provided you with access to your subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but the cancellation will only take effect at the end of your then current subscription period.

CANCELLATION

You have full control of your subscription at all times. Please make sure you are happy with it by keeping it current or cancelling it at any time if you decide you don’t want it anymore.

You will only be charged a new year subscription if your subscription is active and you have not cancelled the subscription before the renewal date.

We'll give you a friendly 15-day notice before it's time to renew. Unfortunately, due to the digital nature of our product, refunds won't be available after your order has been completed.

Once your order has been fulfilled, it is non-refundable.

HOW TO CANCEL AUTORENEWAL

This will depend on whether you have a subscription (you access the library with a code) or a membership (you access the library with your own password from your account)

If you have a SUBSCRIPTION and wish to cancel it:

1 - Login into your account. You will see a panel with your subscription details and a link on the bottom of the panel that says ACCOUNT.

2 - Click on ACOUNT and and then on ‘SUBSCRIPTIONS’. If it says ‘1 Active Subscription’ it means you have a current subscription and to cancel it, click on that SUBSCRIPTIONS link and then on the red link that says ‘Cancel subscription’.

Please note that cancelling your subscription means you are cancelling the renewal of the subscription. You will still have access for the year you are subscribed into but when the renewal date arrives the subscription won’t renew.

If you have a MEMBERSHIP and wish to cancel it:

1 - Login into your account, click on ACCOUNT and click on the ‘MEMBERSHIPS’ link, if it says ‘1 active Membership’ you have a current membership.

2 - Click on the Chic & Country Library link and then on ‘Go Manage Subscription’ and then on the red link ‘Cancel Subscription’.

If you cancel your membership, you will lose access to the library.

EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION

If you cancel your subscription BEFORE your renewal date, you won’t receive any further charges.

Please note that we do not keep your card details on file and that all subscription payments are processed securely by our payments processor Stripe.

Your subscription will be automatically cancelled by our system if payment fails to go through within 5 days of the renewal date.

The subscription process is automatic and the emails you receive in this regard concerning the renewal or cancellation of your subscription are generated by our system.

TROUBLE IN PARADISE

We strive to offer you an excellent service. If however for whatever reason you are not happy with our efforts, please contact us by email and we will do our best to assist you.

Zero Tolerance Policy and Email Etiquette

We treat our customers with the greatest respect and kindness and we appreciate customers who are equally respectful towards our support team.

Please note that we have a policy of zero tolerance for emails that use rude or aggressive language or are in any way disrespectful. We consider yelling emails (those emails that use all caps, exclamation marks…), emails that make false accusations, disparaging remarks, rants or issue threats to be unacceptable and we will not engage in correspondence with such senders other than to reply by sending this policy. Please address our staff with the respect and politeness that you wish to receive from us.

In particular, we reserve the right not to process refunds if you use aggressive language (please note that the use of angry exclamation marks is considered aggressive), make threats, harass our staff with continuous emails and unreasonable demands or claim not to recognise a subscription when you have asked for a library code in the months preceding such claim. We will also not process any refunds from customers who request a code or help to access the library, and once they have received such code and help to access the library, they request a refund. Yes, unfortunately there are such people.

Chargeback Disputes

You agree not to issue a chargeback in order to avoid complying with our terms. If you do, the chargeback will be disputed by us. You must contact us before issuing a dispute and we will do our very best to resolve your issue.

Issuing a dispute directly with your bank without contacting us first is an infringement of our terms.
